Items are normally in stock and are usually despatched the same day, if a delay seems likely you will be informed.

UK Postage and Packing

Prices include postage to all mainland UK addresses. Larger items may attract a surcharge for off shore or remote locations. Modern Astronomy is an internet mail order business but customers are free to collect items, by prior arrangement, from our office in Purley (near Croydon) in Surrey.

International Shipping

We are happy to ship to most countries. You can place your order via the shopping cart and you will be advised of additional shipping charges, by email, prior to the processing and despatch of your order. Or simply email for details of shipping charges to your country.

Payment Methods

Online: Please add items to the cart as you shop and checkout when you are ready. You will be presented with a choice of payment methods when you checkout. These include Credit & Debit cards, Paypal and instructions on how to pay by Cheque and Postal Order.

Telephone orders: You may 'phone with your card details.

Returning Goods

UK and EU customers are covered by Consumer Protection laws which allow for a seven day cancellation period after the day the goods are received. If bad weather or personal circumstances preclude a test within 7 days please let me know. I want you to be satisfied with your purchase!
